No, Violet and Lady Danbury are not related to each other, not in the conventional sense, at least. They come from completely different families with their own struggles, challenges, and social standing in society.
Violet and Agatha both know the truth, but Violet sympathizes and understands her. They don’t need to say the truth out loud. Also Violet knows her mother sucked, I doubt she feels much loyalty to hate Danbury on her behalf for a short romance that Danbury really needed at the time.
