I'm considering getting some new pens for everyday use (school and work), and I was wondering if Parker Jotter pens are really as good as the reviews say. They’re very decent. Great in the $7-11 range for the all-metal bodied ones. Very commonly available refills.

I was genuinely surprised by the price of these new editions, because they look and feel like a much more expensive pen.

I really love this Parker Jotter. It’s small and light, which I’ve seen some people find as a negative but I enjoy the feel in my hand. It also seems to disappear in my pocket and I just love the feel of the metal.
I think Parker Jotters are well liked for their iconic and classic look. Functionally, yeah they work, but there are pen bodies that take Parker refills for cheaper that are more durable. I personally don't like how tapered they are.
