I'm considering getting some new pens for everyday use (school and work), and I was wondering if Parker Jotter pens are really as good as the reviews say. They’re very decent. Great in the $7-11 range for the all-metal bodied ones. Very commonly available refills.

I'm currently using my Parker Jotter to take notes in classes, but I've noticed that I can't write fast, or a big amount of papers without my hand starts hurting me. Can you recommend me another pen (in this budget) perfectly fit for writing a stupid, excesive amount of sheets?
Feb 3, 2014 · Over the years, alot of quality has been engineered out of the jotter in order to reduce costs. Parker are a commercial entity like all others so it is not unreasonable, but the result is that modern jotters are lighter, and made from cheaper materials and components than their predecessors.

That is correct. The Parker Jotters write really nice for their price, and they are always available on Amazon for not a whole lot more than the zebras. But I just got into a Shaeffer sentinel, which is basically the same body style as a jotter, but writes even better, if you can afford the 15 dollar price tag.

Dec 13, 2011 · The original Parker Jotter ballpoint pen can be refilled & comes in a bronze & black gift box, overall not bad for an everyday pen, sadly I don’t think the writing experience this time around will stay with me as long as that of my very first pen.
