Jun 6, 2024 · But this year, it feels like the festival has dialled up its penchant for high drama to eleven; in its musicals (and at least one of its Shakespeares), glitz and glam take centre stage, bombarding audiences with flashy dance numbers, slick scenography, and feathers dripping in sequins. Enter Something Rotten!.
Almost all seats at Stratford are good, but it is nice to be in front. Some of the show took place in the aisles and that made this section good. I knew this rendition of Chicago would be superb, but it surpassed anything I expected - theater doesn't get much better than this.
The theatre has special access seating available on the main floor just a few feet away from the stage. Entry to all seating (except wheelchair seating) is by steps leading upward from stage level. The auditorium is steeply inclined, and reaching the back rows may be challenging for those with restricted mobility. PARKING
