Jan 1, 2021 · The Fort Worth stalwart is a local and visitor favorite in the Fort Worth Stockyards. For over 20 years, Chef Tim Love has wowed guests with his game-forward menu featuring Wagyu tomahawk, kangaroo carpaccio, Rocky Mountain elk ribeye, wild boar, and rabbit and rattlesnake.
If you are visiting, especially near the Stockyards. Joe T. Garcias, food is good, not the best Tex Mex, but the atmosphere and the people watching is top notch, and it is a historic staple if you have never been. It's the restaurant my family hits whenever they come into town. And it is a get there early, bring cash, and have a margarita.

- Fort Worth Stockyards Cattle Drive. The cattle drive is the Stockyards’ main attraction, and it is totally free! Twice a day visitors line the streets to watch real cowboys on horseback drive a herd of longhorn cattle down the middle of East Exchange Avenue.
- Find Your Way Out of the Cowtown Cattlepen Maze. The Cowtown Cattlepen Maze is a 5,400 square foot labyrinth of wooden walls. We visited the Fort Worth Stockyards with three boys, and this was their favorite activity!
