I received this email over a week ago, after going back and forth I came to the conclusion it is for sure a Scam, some of the links he sent me from my ArtStation weren't even completed pieces, they were just blockouts. This was the last response I received from "Danny Young".
Just adding to this: the scam is still going as of August 2023. Last week I got an email from someone normal sounding, here's the transcript from 'Kevin': "Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I found your portfolio on Artstation, and wanted to reach out to inquire about your availability for a special project.

Artstation is turning into an AI hellhole like Deviantart. This is what happens when a tech bros company like Epic Games purchases an art community website. There is an option to filter out AI generated art, but it doesn't work. AI users can't just post a few pics, they must post 500 images that look similar, flooding the site.

Some of the comments explain how they scam: "I have recently been approached by a person on Artstation to sell some of my artwork to them. Through the conversation, this website was mentioned -retartes- I did a Google search and found a very detailed article from an artist who got scammed by this particular project.
We came up with the 80.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to artstation.com 's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability.
