5. Tyler State Park Lake. Tyler State Park Lake is a beautiful spot located within Tyler State Park which you’ll find in the piney woods of East Texas, near the city of Tyler. This park is well-known for its 64-acre spring-fed lake which shines like a jewel among the tall pine trees.
