Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Compared to non-pregnant persons, SARS-CoV-2 infection in pregnancy is associated with increased risk of hospitalization and admission to an ICU. SARS-CoV-2 infection during pregnancy is also associated with an increased risk in the neonate of preterm birth, low birth weight and admission to a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
