Reservations are required for all overnight stays at Upper Joffre Lake Campground in Joffre Lakes Park. We highly recommend that you make your reservation as early as possible. The campground has 26 reservable tent pads.
Three backcountry campgrounds in E.C. Manning Park require reservations during peak season: Buckhorn, Kicking Horse, and Frosty Creek. To see when reservations are required, check the dates of operation on the E.C. Manning Park page.

Parks Canada will be launching reservations for the 2024 visitor season starting in January. Launch dates vary by location; find specific launch dates and times below.
Joffre Lakes. Day-use trail passes are required May 16 to October 31, 2024, for visitors to Joffre Lakes Park. There will be periodic park closures during this time. The park will be closed: April 30 to May 15. June 14 to June 23. September 3 to October 6.
