First, it didn't have anywhere near the level of budget or the same sort of style as the Star Wars prequels. I don't know where you're getting that from. BE was $44 million according to the wikipedia. Second, if you really think BE was not a bad movie you need to watch a lot more movies -- good movies.

Mar 28, 2015 · 1. John Travolta makes a really fantastic villain, reminiscent of Gary Oldman's Zorg from The Fifth Element. A lot of his Terl character got reused as Charlie Wax in From Paris With Love. The "Our friendly bartender!" scene is perfect. 2. Some surprisingly good set design and makeup. 3. The "running while walls get blown up in slow-mo" scene.
