Bernard Widrow (M’58–SM’75–F’76–LF’95) received the S.B., S.M., and Sc.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, in 1951, 1953, and 1956, respectively. He joined the MIT faculty, where he was engaged in teaching from 1956 to 1959.
