Avoid BlaBlaCar bus for Long-Distance Travel. My recent experience with BlaBlaCarNL was extremely disappointing. Despite their promises, the reality was far from what was advertised. The bus was too small, the seats were narrow with no legroom, there were no tables, no power outlets, and no Wi-Fi on a 20-hour journey.
Best or better is subjective. What would matter to me is overall value including price, speed, convenience and comfort and I think the train wins in balance of you can book ahead and get a good fare. For a last minute trip and based on You Tube videos I've watched I'd have a slight preference for Flixbus.

Sep 10, 2024 · Don't trust BlaBlaBus to help you when they are having problems with their equipment that harm you as a passanger - no one will help you on the other side. We were traveling in France during the Summer, and were wishing to go to Lyon airport with bus from BlaBlaBus.
Sep 10, 2019 · Review pages are almost always dominated by people with a complaint. I think the people who complain about bus services have unrealistic expectations. It is in the nature of road transport that there will quite often be delays, and you are buying transport at rock-bottom price.
