Lionsgate Films (trading as Lionsgate since 2005) is a Canadian-American film studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with headquarters in Santa Monica, California. Named after Vancouver's Lions Gate Bridge, it was formed on January 12, 1998, when Cinépix Film Properties was reincorporated under this name.
Above the logo the paintbrushes "wash" on the words " Family Home Entertainment ", with each word in red, blue, and yellow respectively. Variants: On rare occasions, the logo is still. An abridged version was used on a promo. FX/SFX: Impressive use of CGI from FHE, using the ability to pan in and out impressively!
Logo: We see the black letters "LGF" with "LIONS GATE FILMS" below (all separated by two lines). A blue spotlight passes on the background. Suddenly the words switch to blue, and the background fades to black. The logo zooms in. Then the light streak draws the same byline as the previous logo. FX/SFX: Various light effects.
