366 tkm will not chamber in a 7.62x39 chamber, it wont allow the carrier/ bolt far enough forward to engage a firing mechanism either unlike 5.56 and 300 blackout which will chamber just fine and artificial head space its self against the shoulders of the 5.56 chamber.
Jan 14, 2021 · Some mags, like the Izhmash AK magazine can hold two types of ammo, in this case, 7.62x39mm, or .366 TKM ammo. However there are no guns that can fire both. Thus if you load a mag with .366 TKM ammo into a gun that fires 7.62x39mm ammo, the mag will go into the gun, but you won't be able to chamber a round, and thus won't be able to fire.
Fun fact: You can load .366 TKM rounds into an SKS, as it's 7.62x39. For some reason, though, once you get in a raid, it tells you that your ammo is incompatible. At this point, if you can't take the magazine out (no workbench), your gun is essentially a baseball bat. You can't unload it in raid, and of course you can't mag dump it either.

i would imagine what the bolt and barrel mean in guns so im going to explain. if you have 7.62x39 barrel and bolt for it, the bolt will only lock up it the casings diameter is 7.62x39 (or smaller but thats bad idea) . if you tried to put lets say 7.62x51 or 366 TKM in there, in the case of the x51 the bullet and casing would only partially feed into the barrel as the casing is longer. in the ...
