LONG ramps. And your truck is probably closer to 10k empty if you have a flatbed.
Aug 2, 2014 · Welded a flat bar across the back for the tracks to catch on and two small angle iron uprights on the rear side corners just in case they wanted to slip sideways. Put the bucket on the truck bed with the blade facing the truck, power down to get the blade above the bed, drive forward so the blade catches.
May 4, 2024 · Howdy, curious if anyone has experience loading a skid steer or mini ex up onto a 4' high flatbed. I have a flatbed dump on the F800 which makes that bed sit pretty high. Occasionally I have a portable sawmill job and need to bring my bobcat t740; it would be awesome to do it in one trip.
Also, metal tracks and a metal bucket are sure to damage the truck bed at some point, probably on the first try. Don't underestimate the weight, metal-on-metal and power of hydraulics. The financial damage you cause to your truck could be put into a trailer. I own a truck and a trailer. Even if I take lumber I'd rather hook up the trailer.

Jan 25, 2023 · I suggest finding out the dump fees. If you have access to a 3/4 ton pickup, you can rent a dump trailer and the TLB from Home Depot for instance. Get the TLB a day ahead of the trailer. Get the trailer and haul off 3 loads to the site. What you can't do is load the dirt on any real dump truck. None of these toys lift high enough.

May 17, 2010 · Also get max size you can - 14-16 feet. BUT they are easy to overload. And speaking of that, you do want to check what your gross weight is going to be with your skid steer in there. A well built dump trailer is going to weigh 4600+ and a respectable skid steer could hit 7-8000. Stick a mini excavator in there and you can be hauling 15,000 pounds.
