From a user perspective, the "best" modloader is the one that your favourite mods run on. In general this tends to lead users to use Fabric for vanillaplus-like packs, and Forge for bigger, gameplay changing packs.
The forge counterpart is Rubidium + Starlight + FerriteCore + FastSuite. Don’t use Magnesium or Optifine. They are very bad at performance and compatibility. Forge is suitable for large modpacks where mods have s lot of interaction. Fabric is suitable for modpacks where mods are stand-alone and played individually.

you cant use both, but i prefer Modloader Pro bc it A, gives you more fps and B, more mods are usually using MLP because of those.

Mar 28, 2023 · Basically extract the mod loader into your base darktide folder. Every other mod goes into mods folder. Then edit the text file mod_load_order.txt and add the folder names (just copy and paste) to the end of the file. This is not needed for the mod framework and loader folders.
