After setting javaw.exe process priority to High in task manager, I have achieved a load time of 7 minutes 5 seconds. I don't think there's much more I can do now aside from removing mods. Having 4GB or RAM dedicated to FTB helps, a processor with fast single core speeds helps, but the greatest help will be having FTB on a SSD. There's a nifty little utility mod that shows you what mods load for how long. Put it in the mods folder, start Minecraft and then read the loading-log.log with a text editor.
In short, these are two different modloaders that help enable Minecraft modding as you know it in the CurseForge app. You can read more about Forge and Fabric documentation and the idea behind them. When authors submit their mods, they mark which modloader the mod is compatible for, and they might add files to support both modloaders.

Skyrim, and my MO2 loadout is on my SSD. I run an ENB, so that adds a bit of time to the game's start up. Start up from SKSE64 through MO2, it took 41 seconds to load into the game and the menu options appeared. Continuing current save, took 11 seconds to load my save. Main Menu: 41 seconds.
