Diagnostic imaging, also called medical imaging, refers to tests health professionals can use to look inside the human body to help diagnose your health. We offer angiography, bone density, CT scan, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and X-ray services in our department:
MRI machines are located in the Interlake-Eastern, Prairie Mountain Health, Southern Health-Santé Sud, and Winnipeg regional health authorities. Ask your health care provider where you are having your scan.
Diagnostic services can also be used to determine how well treatments are working, or to measure results over time. You may be able to have the test in the location of your choice. Talk to your doctor to see if this is an option for you.
As of May 2020, please note that the Radiology clinic is open by appointment only. Saturday appointments are also available. If you have any questions or would like to know their current procedures, we recommend you contact them by phone.
