    This wikiHow teaches you how to type the trademark (™) and registered trademark (®) symbols on your computer, phone, or tablet. The

    symbol, which is just a "TM" in super-script characters, is used to assert your ownership of the name, word, phrase, or design that distinguishes your brand.
