  2. Weapon cases/crates are a great (albeit RNG bound) source of attachments, weapons and ammo, loot them whenever you encounter one. Keep what you can use, sell the rest. Finding an RSASS might be cool, but you won't get much use of it when you don't have access to ammo and magazines.

  3. Well if you wanna go for the ammo case in Container, you would either have to buy a bigger Version (including Gamma) in the flea market or make the quest / Reputation to get the beta (2x3) or the Epsilon (2x4). You can Level strenght by being overweight and walk (not run) and jump.

  4. Mar 31, 2024 · For every weapon in Tarkov, you must identify the calibre it uses, then identify an ammo of the same calibre, and use them together. The screenshots above are an example of a weapon and ammo that can be used together. Each is of 5.45x39 calibre.

  5. No, I wouldn't advise mixing ammo in a single mag unless you're dropping 5-10 tracers on the bottom of a 60-rounder/drum mag. What I would advise is bringing 2 types of mags with 2 types of ammo. This is my go-to usually.

  7. When picking up a weapon in the field, it's always wise to do a quick magazine check, using Left Alt + T to ensure that the weapon has ammo. After doing so, checking the weapon's chamber, using Left Shift + T will ensure that you've got a round in the chamber.
