If you right click on a weapon, weapon mod, helmet etc which can be attached or modded, and click on "linked search", it will show you all compatible equipment with that item which is available on the flea market.
Jan 14, 2021 · Short answer, you can quickly check compatibility by dragging the ammo/mag over the gun and it will turn red if incompatible (in a raid or not). And you can check the type quickly by inspecting items.
Weapon cases/crates are a great (albeit RNG bound) source of attachments, weapons and ammo, loot them whenever you encounter one. Keep what you can use, sell the rest. Finding an RSASS might be cool, but you won't get much use of it when you don't have access to ammo and magazines.

To find the calibre of a gun or ammo, look to the bottom left of the item's icon in your stash or double-click to inspect the item, and look at the item's name in the newly opened panel.

As the title says you can hold R and use mousewheel to select the ammo in your inventory to reload the mag currently in the weapon. I don't know what other guns this works on, but it definitely works on the SKS (with the 20 round removable magazine).
