   Nov 22, 2023 · The 2600+ outputs a 720P signal. Although it seems this isn't quite a standard 720P signal as my TV takes a second or two to lock in and show the output. Also, my capture device in the game room usually has no issue with 480P, 720P, and 1080P sources. But it does NOT like the 720P from the 2600+ and stays in pass through mode.

   • If you guy have any recommendations on power supplies or some advice it would be greatly appreciated. If you able to find a regulated power supply that will work with the Atari 2600 then that would be amazing, it needs to have the UK adapter though. Kind of contradicting yourself there.

   • It is, however, a much slower process than on original hardware. Games actually have to load up on the Atari 2600+. The original systems booted up near instantaneously, but this new system has to take a few seconds to load the game, which can be a bit of an annoyance.    The Atari Gamestation Pro comes pre-installed with a decent amount of 2600, 5200, and 7800 games and you can install additional ROMS on a USB drive port on the device. While it doesn't seem to support every homebrew game out there yet, it actually seems to support more games than the 2600+ right now at least.
