Dec 20, 2023 · The Atari 2600+ is designed to work with original Atari 2600 and Atari 7800 cartridges. It isn’t 100% compatible with all cartridges, but the vast majority of official Atari carts do function with the system. A list of compatible games can be found on Atari’s website here.
Nov 22, 2023 · The 2600+ outputs a 720P signal. Although it seems this isn't quite a standard 720P signal as my TV takes a second or two to lock in and show the output. Also, my capture device in the game room usually has no issue with 480P, 720P, and 1080P sources. But it does NOT like the 720P from the 2600+ and stays in pass through mode.

The Atari Gamestation Pro comes pre-installed with a decent amount of 2600, 5200, and 7800 games and you can install additional ROMS on a USB drive port on the device. While it doesn't seem to support every homebrew game out there yet, it actually seems to support more games than the 2600+ right now at least.
