Calculate the total necessary daily kcals (20-25kcal per 1lb of cat) and substract however many wet food kcals you're going to feed. Only give the cat the remaining kcals worth of dry food. Adjust this every time you adjust the wet food amount. That way the cat's choice is to eat the wet food, or be a little hungry.
