  2. Currently no way to play two-button 7800 games, but they've announced that a new 2-button 7800 controller is coming, so that will apparently be fixed. The 2600+ does actually work with the Harmony Cart if you just load one game on the card and don't use the menu. edit: Also it does not work with 4:3 LCD monitors, only 16:9 resolutions.

  3. Dec 2, 2023 · Yes, absolutely ANY controller that just consists of switches and no electronics is going to work. Switches is switches. Genesis is electronic so I'm guessing it causes issues with the 2600+. But even on original C64 and Atari etc you want to be careful with genesis controllers else you blow something up. 1.

The master system light gun will work, and is far more accurate than the atari light gun, however, you have to rerwire the trigger on the master system gun, as it's normally closed on the atari, and normally open on the master system..
