Nov 8, 2015 · Well a social club account IS required, you cannot activate the game without one. You can play completely offline though. Right click the game in Steam and click "Properties" Then click the "set launch options..." button. In the box type -scOfflineOnly Then when you run the game Social Club will launch in offline mode.

May 15, 2024 · Here are the steps: Navigate to Documents\Rockstar Games\Social Club. Open socialclub_launcher.log in a text editor like Notepad. Find the line "offline only mode" and change the value from false to true. Save the file and launch GTA V using the Steam application shortcut. When prompted to sign in to Social Club, exit out using ALT + F4.
Recently I acquired a copy of GTA V on Steam due to the sale. I was pretty stoked on playing it... when the Rockstar Launcher told me that my Social club account has already been linked to a different steam account (my father's). Which comes back to my question: if I delete my Social club account the re-make it:
You should but I honestly don’t know, but I did purchased GTA Trilogy Classic, GTA 4 Complete Edition, and RDR2 on Steam and got it free on R* Games Launcher, but when on the Launcher, it says “Play On Steam” so either way If I launch the game on one Launcher, it loads the other one to “verify” on the other Launcher so I can play.
