Feb 5, 2024 · Starting Monday, February 26, 2024, Ontario’s One Fare Program will provide transit riders with free transfers when connecting to and from the TTC and York Region Transit (YRT), using a PRESTO card, credit, debit or PRESTO in Google Wallet.
Customers can take advantage of the TTC’s two-hour transfer when they pay their fare using a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket, debit or credit card (including the cards loaded in your mobile wallet). A transfer is applied to the card or PRESTO Ticket when you first tap on a card reader. It is valid for two-hours.
Nov 3, 2024 · Customers may use their YRT transfer on TTC routes south of Steeles Avenue or the TTC subway using a PRESTO, credit or debit card payment on a PRESTO device (same applies for the reverse trip). If you are travelling on a TTC route crossing the Steeles Avenue boundary (listed above), please tap on and off the TTC bus; you will not be charged another fare within the two-hour transfer window.
