But on the vanilla launcher I only have one mod folder This is NOT true. In vanilla launcher you can have as many folders as you wish, with different mods, for different Minecraft version and even using different mod loader (Forge and Fabric). Limit is only free space on your disk.
Jul 17, 2022 · Modloader Pro was made to be a more optimalized and user-friendly version of regular Modloader, that's why many mods weren't compatible with both Modloaders, the Pro was just programmed a lot differently. However Pro's maker quickly stopped working on it so now it's outdated and doesn't work correctly, and mod makers stopped making mods for it.
Dec 30, 2022 · So technically we shouldn't grey the buttons out. I guess it's currently up to you to install multiple and see if it works or not. 🤷🏼. It may be a good idea to have a warning of some sort so new, unsuspecting users don't accidentally install multiple loaders without understanding that there could be issues.

im no expert but ive read that modloader 2 its better but a bit harder to use, it gives you more control. I prefer mod organizer 2. You can store your mods on a hard drive and the game on a SSD and still have a modded game and the advantages of a ssd load time. It is more complex to use but I much prefer it.
