For example on Brampton transit the presto fare is $3.40 but a credit card fare is $4.50. And yes you would get the same discount if you tap off go then tap onto any 905 agency that has a co-fare agreement with GO transit. Also some people would still use presto cards cause of youth/post-secondary or senior discounts.
