Apr 1, 2024 · I am currently working on a new variant of the Cow in my Minecraft Mod (the Moobloom, a flower Cow) and I was curious on how I can make this new mob milkable with a specific item, similar to how its vanilla counterparts function in the base game.
Jan 15, 2023 · Cow-ifier (Crafted with cow essence) - Shoots a beam that turns most (not all) weak mobs (mobs with low hp) into a cow that retains the loot table of the original mob (e.g. turning a zombie into a cow will cause that cow to drop rotten flesh). If the beam hits a player it will simply summon a cow.
If you were interested in writing the mod in Java then there are a few communities you could join to get help from, such as the Minecraft Mod Development discord. Lots of developers are willing to coach a bit by answering questions and such.
Sep 26, 2019 · First, get blockbench. It's a very useful modelling tool. Blockbench also has many plugins. One of which is the "Bedrock entity generator". I know it says bedrock, but the models work for java. Trust me, I use them in my mods. You can find this on github, along with all the other plugins.
