  5. Sometimes they are funny. Maybe for survivors that can understand the jokes may find them funny. But for me as a caregiver they are hard to deal with. It didn't happen to me, but seeing my Dad go from non-responsive near death to almost walking has been a harrowing journey. Jokes about it just send me into a spiral of flashbacks.
