The 'speed boost' feature can be enabled by using your stick again while riding. Take your adult pigs to a Forest and they can help you find truffles when they have a lead. Do pigs root for truffles in non-vanilla biomes using animania? I'm specifically using biomes o plenty, and that's it. I asked at their discord, and as long as the biome is tagged with "forest" (which BoP's forests are), then a pig on a lead should forage correctly. I have a similar question.
