Jun 16, 2008 · To the best of my knowledge, the only way to produce a black eyed lucy is to breed two fires together. But if you would like to produce a blue eyed lucy, then there are may different ways. The cheapest is to buy a male and female mojave, and breed them together. Each egg has a 1/4 chance to come out blue eyed lucy. Hope this helps.

Do you want a fire ball python? You’ve made an excellent choice. These beautiful snakes are easy to care for, free from genetic abnormalities, and not too expensive. Purchasing from a good breeder is essential, since it can be hard to tell the difference between similar morphs. Relying on the snake’s body pattern and coloration is only accurate to ...
Many snake owners buy a ball python as their first snake, then look for morph-specific care sheets. Whether you buy a fire ball or one of the other morphs, their care is the same. The only exception is that some ball python morphs have genetic difficulties which need special care. You’ll be delighted to know that the fire gene doesn’t carry defects...
Thanks to the great diversity of the gene, breeders can use the fire morph to make completely unique color variations. The fire gene is co-dominant, so you can cross it with another fire to make a super fire (a black-eyed leucistic in this case). Breeders can also cross fire with co-dominants like pastel, pinstripe, or spider to produce new morphs....
When you cross two fire morph ball pythons, you get a super fire. Super fires have the fire gene twice, which manifests as a black-eyed leucistic. It lacks pigmentation, so it’s a creamy white snake, except for its black eyes. It’s similar to the blue-eyed leucistic morphbut has black eyes instead of blue and red pupils instead of black. Breeding a...
A banana fire ball python is a cross between a banana balland a fire ball. Banana fire balls display the bright yellow coloration of the fire and the pale appearance of the banana. These come in various shades of pale brown, gray, and yellow, with a normal ball python pattern, but in fire colors.
When you cross a fire ball and an enchi ball, you get an enchi fire ball python. Its patterning is more irregular than that of wild-type morphs but less line-like than that of spider morphs. This cross has a combination of the bright yellow of the fire morph and the slightly subdued brown of the enchi morph.
As the name suggests, the pastel fire ball python morph results from a cross between a pastel and a fire. As with the pastels and fires, these snakes have the standard patterning shape of wild ball pythons. They have the bright coloration of the pastels, combined with the luminescent look of the fire morphs. Occasionally, one of these crosses may h...
The Fire Bee ball python morph is a cross between a fire and two other morphs. Breeders cross fire and pastel to get a firefly, then cross firefly with a spider to get the fire bee. This snake is usually cream or light yellow, with spider patterning. Unfortunately, it’s also susceptible to the “wobble” that many spider crosses and cinnamon crossess...

The Fire Ball Python is a stunning morph with unique genetics that produces interesting combinations when bred with other morphs, such as the Pastel Ball. It is much lighter than a regular ball python, usually a lovely golden-hue with brown, rather than black, coloring.
Mar 2, 2023 · Breeding fire ball python morphs is pretty simple. The easiest combination is to breed a fire morph with a normal wild-type. The co-dominant fire gene makes it simple to cross with other morphs too. Some of the most popular offspring are the firefly and super fire morphs.
Sep 19, 2024 · The fire ball python is a codominant morph that is intricately patterned, typically banded with satiny gold and black. But in some snakes, you can find diluted or bold coloring, depending on the genetics and the pairing.
