A few films I would personally have ahead of Mulholland Drive: Hunger, Children of Men, Parasite, Pan’s Labyrinth. And a few maybes: The Social Network, Get Out, A Separation, There Will Be Blood. I do think Mulholland Drive is top ten, but more likely between 4-10 for me. 🤷🏻♂️
If you love Mulholland Drive (which you will :), then you can go deeper into his other films. Whatever you do, DO NOT watch Fire Walk With Me before watching Seasons 1 and 2 of Twin Peaks. Yes, FWWM is a prequel, but it's best (I would say IMPERATIVE) to watch the episodes/films in choronological order according to when they were released.
