- I'm sorry but the only way to do this is by using a mod, you can't do that in normal minecraft without being constantly on creative mode. I recommend you using a mod called Single Player Commands (Link on the bottom). There just use the command "mobdamage" (without quotation marks).

Wedhro. • 7 yr. ago. This doesn't answer your question but hunger without combat is pretty much pointless because being hurt is the only thing that will significantly lower you hunger. Walking, jumping, swimming and so on are not enough so you'd end up eating once a week or so, unless you happen to fall, step in fire and such.
