Here is a list of stores across Canada That Provide Rainchecks! If something is out of stock (on sale in a flyer) you can ask the store to give you a raincheck so you can come back and purchase it when it’s in stock. Rainchecks are usually good for 30 days. Your store can advise you if it’s not 30 days so you don’t miss getting it on sale.
Rain check is processed through the POS for applicable items on sale. The receipt that prints out guarantees the sale price for a set amount of time after the promotion ends at any store. It does not guarantee that we will hold the item. To get a rain check, type on the POS 9801+DPCI. Note: not all items on sale are available for rain checks.
For example, you can use a Superstore raincheck at another Superstore, Sobeys-Sobeys etc. However, you usually can't use the same ones at stores under the same company, for instance Loblaws-NoFrills-Superstore.
