My recommendation is to airbrush one layer of paint and then hand paint the rest. Usually I will airbrush the skin tones and then work my way from there. However in this occasion because Lacus’ mainly white outfit I had to airbrush the white first and then hand paint the rest.
I repainted all the armor with a black primer and mid tone gray, or other dark color. Also painted most of the molded gold. And rescribed the panel lines to make them more prominent.

I just did my MG Strike Freedom Full burst mode a couple weeks ago! i painted the entire inner frame gold as well. I heard that you can only gloss coat holo decals else the effect will be non existent.
