Dec 25, 2013 · Battlezone is yet another impressive port of an arcade game onto the 2600. First off, the gameplay is stellar. Battle zone was a great first-person tank shooter, & Atari did a great job translating what made the original arcade game so much fun.
Battlezone is a first-person shooter tank combat game first released for arcades in November 1980 by Atari. It was a huge success, approximately 15,000 units sold.
