Oct 19, 2007 · Over the last two weeks, I bought six Rapido PRR Budd cars, from three different sources. In general, I like these cars. To me, detail is at about the same high level as Branchline Blueprint, Broadway CZ, or better brass cars. I did note some problems, and dealt with a few. Weights are installed under the lighting kit in the roof.

Sep 15, 2022 · Using the same stainless steel welding technology it pioneered constructing streamlined passenger cars, Budd designed the Rail Diesel Car to replace aging gas-electrics and offer railroads a substitute for regular passenger trains. Many railroads adopted the RDC as a way to cut costs.
1) Burlington Rouge decals that go on the stainless steel Budd cars. Simply say "BURLINGTON" up top and "Silver Dorkus" and a bunch of other stuff down at the bottom. 2) Trucks for said cars, preferably with the coupler arm installed already that will also do electrical pickup.
