There's a better way to do this using PC remote play: Start your PS5 and turn on the display you normally use with it. Connect ps4 controller to PC and start remote play. Doing this allows you to play with the normal display, ie outputting 4k 60 to the ps5's display, while taking input from whatever controller is connected to the PC.
