Central High School is the oldest high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was founded in 1906 as Tulsa High School, and located in downtown Tulsa until 1976. The school now has a 47-acre (19 ha) campus in northwest Tulsa.

To finance further growth, Tulsa’s first $1,000,000 bond proposal for education was passed in May of 1919. Cherokee School at 6001 North Peoria Avenue opened in 1920. Central High School, a Tudor-Gothic Revival building, was built in 1917 on the corner of Sixth Street and Cincinnati Avenue.
