Martin Lawrence was funny. He pretty much was on screen 100% of the film and there was never a dull moment from him which says a lot. Besides him, the acting was generally pretty good actually.
In “Black Knight” Lawrence is operating on an entirely different untapped plane of acting prestige. His energetic, urban wit juxtaposed with the residents of medieval England is brilliant as well as a nuanced callback to Marlon Brando in “Apocalypse Now".
