Dressed To Kill is the fourth episode in the third season of Chucky.

Jake, Devon and Lexy infiltrate a Halloween ball to stop Chucky... but the demon doll has other plans.

The White House's Halloween Gala goes on as intended, upon Pryce's urging to Charlotte. She wishes to have this party to honour her deceased son Joseph, as he loved Halloween. Pryce insists that the security measures in place for the party will be extremely thorough. When James goes to talk to Henry about the party, the boy tells his father that he does not want to attend. This prompts an angry reaction from Chucky, who is dressed as the Phantom of the Opera, as he was planning to mix into the party and kill Jake, Devon and Lexy as his final three sacred offerings to Damballa. He tells Henry to ask his father for a big knife to carve a pumpkin with. That evening, Henry and Chucky are looked after by a nanny named Annie Gilpin. While pumpkin carving, Annie and Henry talk about their mutual belief in ghosts. This conversation continues in Henry's room, where she asks him if he's seen anything supernatural in the White House. Annie claims that she has had an encounter with the ghost of Abraham Lincoln.

Jake, Devon and Lexy arrive at the Halloween Gala, but the weapons they attempted to smuggle in are confiscated by security. Regardless, they resolve to still try and kill Chucky, or at least get video evidence of him being alive on Devon's phone. Grant introduces the trio to his parents, but James is distracted by a young partygoer dressed exactly like Chucky, wearing a Phantom of the Opera costume. Lexy convinces Grant to allow her, Jake and Devon into the Executive Residence. She feigns interest in him, distracting him so Jake and Devon can search for Chucky. However, they are unable to find him, so the trio head back to the party. This leaves Grant irritated, and he feels that he is just being used by Lexy. These feelings are cut short as Henry appears at the party holding Chucky. Suddenly the power goes out, and when it comes back on Chucky has disappeared. He is then found by James, who begins to feel uneasy about the doll after picking him up.

Just then, Annie walks into the party claiming that she can see ghosts. She makes her way to the middle of the ballroom, and looks up as a single screw falls from above. Chucky had loosened all of the bolts in the giant chandelier causing it to fall from the ceiling. Jake is able to push Devon out of harm's way just in time, but others are not so lucky. Eight partygoers are crushed underneath the chandelier, along with Gretchen who has been sliced in half, and Annie whose face has been shorn off. James and his family are escorted to the Executive Residence, while Jake, Devon and Lexy look on helplessly. Once he is alone, Chucky performs the ritual chant to Damballa, as he has made 13 sacrifices in an evil house. However, after removing the Phantom of the Opera mask, he discovers that the ritual failed and his vessel is continuing to rapidly age.

Meanwhile, Tiffany has been moved to a prison in Texas, where she will stay on death row for three weeks until she is executed by lethal injection. As Tiffany is believed to be actress Jennifer Tilly, she is placed with the special population as her presence in in the general population would cause a disturbance. In the prison recreation room, she is met by another inmate named Evelyn, who was a celebrity chef. The two talk and bond over their shared organizational skills and the way the media treats powerful women. This friendship comes to an abrupt halt when Tiffany reveals she killed Jennifer Tilly's sister Meg. Evelyn is disgusted that "Jennifer" would kill her own sister, and remarks that she will be cheering when she is executed. After Evelyn walks away, Tiffany takes the cigarette butt that she left behind.

Back in her cell, Tiffany finds that she has a mailed package waiting for her, which contains the Voodoo For Dummies book and several voodoo dolls. Taking one of the dolls out, she attaches Evelyn's cigarette butt to its mouth and enchants the doll with a voodoo ritual. Now in control of Evelyn's body, Tiffany manipulates the doll while Evelyn is doing a cooking demonstration for other inmates. Tiffany forces Evelyn to cut at her own neck, repeatedly slice her wrists, stab herself in the butt, peel the skin off her fingers, slam her face on a hot grill and against a wall, and finally dunk her head in a pot of boiling oil. She dies as her skin sloughs off her melted face.

A corrections officer named Erica brings Tiffany her dinner, but not before spitting out her gum into the food. Tiffany then uses this gum to make a voodoo doll for Erica, and takes control of her body. She explains to Erica that she needs to acquire personal items from all six of the guards standing between her and freedom, and that she has to complete this task in three weeks before she is executed.
