I believe the entire episode was Janes coma; in the previous episode she never woke from her dose of zip . That is why the acting is so surreal, not sloppy writing. Look how Jane appears in Times Square out of nowhere. The time has 10 minutes and at 2 minutes Times Square is evacuated.
