The Cumberland Heritage Village Museum is situated 30 minutes east of downtown Ottawa in Cumberland, a picturesque village founded in 1802 and amalgamated into the City of Ottawa in 2001. The Museum has been operating since 1976 when it acquired its first building – the Vars Train Station.
