Drove 40 minutes to this park this week (2-2019). It's a lovely park with water (which my dogs love). You don't have to swim , but it's an option behind the gate. It even has a boardwalk to get the pups down to the water level. I appreciate this park, for its size, water to swim in, and even a water well so the dogs always have fresh water.

Hafer park is an outstanding park for anyone to visit. It has multiple playgrounds, a paved walking trail through an urban forest and a duck pond with covered deck extending over the pond.
