All psychology majors must have a minor. In addition to offering regularly structured courses, the department provides opportunities to participate in various research and service activities of faculty members.

Jan 9, 2024 · All Psychology majors must select a minor by the time they reach 45 earned hours. Minors require a minimum of 18 hours. Courses applied to the minor are permitted to overlap with other degree requirements.
Psychology, Undergraduate Minor Students who are majoring in some field other than psychology and wish to minor in psychology must complete at least 18 credit hours in psychology, including PSY 1300 and at least three courses numbered at the 3000- or 4000-level.
Continuing TSU students who wish to declare psychology as their major or minor must: Freshmen new to the university can declare a major or minor when enrolling. Upon admission to the Department, students are assigned an academic advisor.
