In this passage, Jesus draws attention to His completely physical and yet glorified body. With clear words Jesus instructed His disciples to view His hands and His feet, and even to touch Him, and to see that He had a real physical body and not a spiritual body that could not be touched.
1 John 3:2 adds that our spiritual body will be like Jesus’ body when He appears, either at the rapture or at His second coming. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.
