As Christians have an earthly body, they shall have a “heavenly” (ἐπουράνιος, G2230) body ; i.e. like the glorified body of the risen Lord (cf. v. 22, 2 Cor 3:18). The sphere of thought is “realized” eschatology in Ephesians.

Oct 29, 2024 · Answer. While the Bible doesn’t describe in detail the glorified bodies we will receive in heaven, we know that they will be like that of Jesus’ resurrected body. Our mortal human bodies are described in 1 Corinthians 15:42–53 as perishable, dishonorable, and weak, all due to sin.
