Tawhid is the Arabic word used to signify the monotheism of Islam. Tawhid literally means ‘unification’. When used in reference to God, it means to declare the oneness of God. Tawhid can be appreciated in two ways. First, when a believer looks at the universe they think that only a single All-Powerful God could produce such a majestic universe.
