Oct 31, 2024 · In 2019, DZCA became the first zoo to successfully breed boreal toads, releasing 682 tadpoles in Utah. Since then, in partnership with @coparkswildlife, we’ve released over 2,700 Zoo-born tadpoles back into their high-altitude habitats and launched a community science project to monitor their habitat across Colorado. Go, #TeamToad! 💚
